Two people killed as tractor hits bike in Thakurgaon

Two people were killed when a tractor hit their motorcycle at Chapor village in Thakurgaon’s Pirganjb upazila last night.
The deceased are Harun Or Rashid, 45, of Mukandapur village and Abdul Khalek, 48, of Teromile Gorea village in Dinajpur’s Kaharol upazila.
Tazul Islam, officer-in-charge of Pirganj Police Station, said that the incident took place around 8:30pm as a Pirganj-bound tractor hit the motorcycle, leaving the two riders seriously injured.
Locals rescued them and took them to Pirganj Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared Harun dead.
Later, Khalek was shifted to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries last night.
A case was filed with the with the Pirganj Police Station, the OC said.
