Up for auction is this dated 1940 WWII Basic Field Manual for Automatic Pistol Caliper .45 M1911 and M1911A booklet.  Put out by the War Department and published by the United States Printing Office in Washington, DC, the book was used by US troops throughout WWII.  96 illustration filled pages.  Measures about 6 3/4 X 4 1/4 inches.  In nice shape with just some minor corner bumping/wear, minor marks on covers and minor creases to cover (these issues are very minor and only mentioned for complete accuracy...see pictures for details).  Pages are clean and binding is tight.  A great and quite hard to find piece in nice shape offered with NO RESERVE!!
