Original WWII USMC 4th Marine Division 4th Engineer BN named and Identified scrapbook / photo album to PFC A.W. Blair. He served in the invasion / battles of Saipan, Tinian, Iwo Jima along with other places. The scrapbook photo album was put together by him after he arrived in Maui Hawaii for rest in August 1945. Includes some rare items including original typed papers read to the Marines before they invaded Iwo Jima and Tinian, Saipan. The typed paper pages have written behind the pictured folded out typed pages "this was read to us just before Iwo", and the other typed fold out says "After Saipan and Tinian". There is many more papers, photos that should be shown in the listing.  In total the scrapbook / photo album has over 80 pictures. Closed the scrapbook / photo album measures approx. 10" x 8 1/4". The front and back covers have wear with flaking and soiling with loss.
