    DESCRIPTION:
    This 2 page WWII death card has a rare military/patriotic iron cross reverse depiction.
    Specifically,
    "Johann Sperl, obergefreiter in a Grenedier Regt, holder of the eastern service medal and the 41/42 Winter campaign medal, who was killed in action on March 31, 1944, aged 27, in the campaign on the Eastern Front". NICE LARGE PHOTO of this soldier wearing uniform.
    Card is in excellent
    condition.
    Original card, more than 75 years old, and a nice face and quite a fantastic story to brothers and a family who otherwise would be forgotten statistics.
