WW2 USAAF N-3C Reflector Gunsight, very nice condition

Description

The N-3C Gunsight was produced throughout WW2 and was used until the end of the war. This gunsight entered production for use in the P-39 and P-40 fighters and was the main sight the pilot/gunner used when firing at targets. This was also used in later aircraft such as the P-51, P-57, and P-38.
I am not an expert in militaria and this was one of the items my father in law left when he passed. I have no idea what he was using it for, only that he was very interested in optics. To me it looks almost new. I will try to answer any questions and can provide further pictures if necessary.
