    Description

    M1903A3 Springfield Rifle Barrel--Unissued
    Original WW2 GI replacement barrel for M1903A3 Springfield [will fit standard M1903 version as well], milled steel construction with front sight base [no sight blade, though], and medium greyish-green parkerized finish throughout. Well marked behind sight base with RA [Remington Arms], Ordnance bomb, and date 7-44. Still wrapped in dark greenish cosmoline cloth wrapper. Barrel came out of the estate of a WW2 US Army officer in Port Arthur, Texas many years ago. I'm assuming it's a two groove barrel due to the late date. Nice piece for restoring a sporterized Springfield back to its original configuration and is in excellent unissued condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
