VW Radio Speaker Antenna Set Squareback Fastback
New Old Stock (NOS) vintage VW radio set "1VW1014", as shown in photos.
Selling for friend who acquired many years ago with other vintage car radios and has had in storage in smoke-free home.
Sapphire XI radio with speaker, antenna, mounting bracket, plastic surround, parts inside sealed bag, literature, original box.
Excellent original unused condition - faceplate has imperfections in chrome finish -  see photos (use "zoom" feature for close-up detail).
Box in fair condition; radio knobs inside clear sealed bag with other parts (wrapped in paper).
12 volt radio will with antenna designed to fit VW Squareback and Fastback (1966 and later or others with 12 volt electrics).
Tested with regulated 12 volt power supply on bench - pushbuttons, speaker, and light working - tuned very well with no adjustments needed (inside concrete and metal building).  Antenna has 3 sections and is very stiff to extend/retract.
Includes "Owner's Manual", "Installation Manual", and green "Guarantee Policy" card.
Engraved or stamped on bottom of metal radio case: "15D43574B01" (above black text "003121").
Great original parts set ready to install and use on car.
