Beautiful burgundy polo collar sweater from Pringle of Scotland, designed for upscale department store White's of New Haven, Connecticut, in the epicenter of Ivy League style. No material tag but this feels like a very high quality cashmere.
Based on label design, this sweater is likely from the 1940s or 1950s.
