Victorian dressed doll
I do not know anything about this doll other than what I can observe, but I know she is not antique.  I am pretty sure she is a modern doll, probably not older than 1980.  The red dress was home made by my mother.  She has a cloth body and it appears she has a porcelain head, arms and legs.  Again, I do not know anything about dolls, so I am guessing these are porcelain by the way they feel and sound when I tap them.  Her hair is removable and the number “1497" is imprinted on the top of her head.  Please look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description.
