This is a FULLY SERVICED WITH 6 MONTH WARRANTY, great working & good looking
ORIGINAL
1970 CHEVROLET Delco AM/FM STEREO radio # 01BFM1.  This was used in 1970 Chevelle, Camaro, Nova, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Impala & Caprice models.
This radio was produced in late 1969.  Note  the DS-501 higher power audio output transistors.
Beginning Jan 1st 1970 production , the radio switched to the smaller DS-515 output transistors.  Also note the 7312341 product number.  The re-tagged modified 1972/71 stereos being sold on ebay will have a made up product #, one never used by Delco.
One more thing .Once you've got an AM/FM radio in your car, you DON'T need to have it modified for AUX or bluetooth.  There are thousands of WIRELESS adapters available on ebay which will transmit your device's signal directly to
ANY
FM radio, NO radio modifications or cables needed.  A simple ebay search for  "wireless" "car" "fm" "adapter"   will show thousands from to .  Wires and radio modifications are old school on FM radios, not needed any more.
This radio has been FULLY SERVICED...internally/externally cleaned, lubricated, adjusted and bench tested.
All
of the electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with NEW.(an absolute MUST when servicing ANY radio over 30 years old!
All of the controls have been flushed out & lubricated.
Several line noise filter capacitors have been replaced with NEW.
The right channel audio output transistor has been replaced with tested good used.
The front/rear speaker control has been removed & rebuilt with NEW wipers & windings.
The mechanical tuner & pushbutton mechanism have been lubricated & adjusted.
The AM & FM tuner circuits have been electronically re-aligned.
The AM/FM band switch contacts have been cleaned & adjusted.
The 'stereo' indicator lamp is NEW.
The front lens has been removed & lightly polished to remove most use wear.
The lens silver accent has been repainted.
The dial pointer has been removed & correctly repainted.
The black nose has been removed & repainted.
The pushbuttons have been lightly polished to remove most use wear.

The sound is loud & clear on both AM & FM.  The pushbuttons set & work fine.  Tunes smoothly.  There is NO crackling heard when adjusting the volume, balance, speaker control or tone.
THIS RADIO WORKS LIKE NEW.
This radio REQUIRES speakers with an 8 - 10 ohm rating.
This stereo is a FOUR speaker model, but there is a connecting  harness made which allows the 4-speaker stereo to be safely used in a 2-speaker car.

The knobs are a mix of used originals & new replacements.
CORRECT new replacement 8 - 10 ohm speakers can be found online at sites like turnswitch.com.
