    Description

Rare WWII German Death Card, WAR DISABLED EX-SOLDIER, MACHINEST IN STEYR
    DESCRIPTION:
WWII unusual German death card, FOR DISABLED WAR VETERAN AND MACHINIST IN STEYR. Never seen a card for a disabled soldier who died as a result of his wounds.
    Specifically:
"Johann Dornetshumer, disabled war veteran and machinist at the Steyer Works, who died in the Steyer hospital at 2 1/2 hours after midnight in the morning of Sept. 17, 1944 aged 23."
    Photo showing him in uniform.
    Card is in excellent condition.
Original card over 75 years old, and a nice picture and story of a soldier who otherwise would be a forgotten statistic.
No additional postage with multiple purchases.
Items are sold ONLY as historical artifacts and I respect the bans of such items in France, Austria, or any other countries where bids cannot be accepted.
    A
different, much more unusual, and higher quality death card vs. the more common ones generally seen on EBAY.
