    Description

Circa 1890 Beaded Christmas Stocking, Chippewa/Ojibwa Tribe
    22 cm length
Featuring a Woodland-style floral pattern of opaque blue, green, red, yellow, transparent gold, and clear glass beads, with multi-colored loops of beads and green beads accenting the pink cloth trim around the perimeter.
Obviously an interesting early item not intended for resale that shows some of the early adoption of "Christmas" with native flair and elegance.
