    Description

    This is an original Springfield Armory Pre-WWII early-style operating rod (op rod) catch assembly, with accelerator and accelerator pin. It has very little to no parkerized finish, I believe it is actually an early "in the white" or unfinished white steel version made from about early 1940 to mid-1941, or in the serial number range from about 25,000 to 250,000. The op rod catch is in very good to excellent condition, shows some wear in the expected places, and it is in fine operating condition. Please see photos.
