Shown here is a VERY nice looking, ALMOST NEW original GM Delco AM/FM/Stereo 8 Track Radio. The inside is in excellent condition as is the outside. *** One of the best looking 8 track radios I've had in a long time! This Delco service number 20BFMT1 (1982 model) GM part number 16009970, and package number 995998 can be used in most GM vehicles from 1978 thru thru mid 80's that offered the 2 shaft 2700 Series radios. This radio was optional in almost all GM vehicles for many years. Verify all applications before bidding. Ask questions before, not after. The chrome edge trim is very nice. The white lettering is near perfect. The tape door aluminum looks very nice with minimal wear. The pushbutton chrome is excellent. The controls and switches have all been cleaned. Tuner cleaned, lubed and adjusted. The tape deck was cleaned and lubed.  Track change assembly dis-assembled, cam cleaned and lubed. Tape head cleaned and aligned. The capstan has been cleaned and burnished. A new belt was installed (old one is taped to top cover), and speed control properly adjusted. The pushbutton tape eject kick-out works properly. Note the stereo LED is nice and bright. The background dial light works as it is supposed to. Look at all of the pictures. The last three I rarely bother posting. This radio looks like brand new inside! The chassis is exceptionally clean as well as the tape deck. You won't find any nicer! I am a former GM Delco radio tech, all of my radios are serviced before I list them. No junk yard hooked up for ten seconds here. No "worked when removed" or “tested” or "condition unknown" specials here either. All units are serviced and perform properly. Cleaned and detailed, ready to install and enjoy. I am including a set of original GM knobs, and the correct shaft nuts and side clip with nut. Besides the hardware, I am including a replacement GM/Delco power/speaker connector with a dozen red butt connectors.
