Old Motorola Volumatic Car Radio with 1955 Ford Faceplate Adapter

We run across old Motorola Volumatic radios from time to time, but this one
is the first I've ever seen. It's been fitted with a faceplate adapter to fit 1955
model Ford cars. As the pics show, the regular tuning dial and controls are
still there and the adapter simply slides over the volume and tuning shafts
and bolts to the radio chassis. There is a lead wire that connects to the car's
dash light harness.  As the photos show, the unit has seen its share of use...
along with a good bit of dirt and some surface rust, both the volume and tuning
shafts are bent at the knobs and the tuning shaft is missing one fastening fork.
The dial face has a small scratch at the 5:00 position but is otherwise sound,
as is the chrome plating on the bezel.
The radio itself is the standard 6M 6-volt 6-tube (6BD6 6BE6 6BD6 6CR6 6AQ5 6X4) model.
Our only 6-volt power supply decided to take the week off so we have no way to check it
and must therefore offer it for sale "AS-IS" (plus, it's 66 years old) If you're a restorer or
