    Description

NICE WWII German Death Card, Sergeant in Division Headquarters, 6 Weeks Into Initial Russian Offensive (Operation Barbarossa)
    DESCRIPTION:
Very scarce original WWII German death card for a sergeant in a Division Headquarters. KIA just 6 weeks after the beginning of the Russian Offensive that started on June 21, 1941 (Operation Barbarossa). Wearing nice dress uniform.
    Specifically,
"Stefan Waldemer, Sergeant in a division headquarters, who was killed in action on Aug. 8, 1941, aged 29, in Russia." NICE CLEAR PHOTO wearing dress uniform.
    Excellent
    condition.
Original card, more than 75 years old, and a nice face and story to someone who otherwise would be a forgotten statistic.
This is sold ONLY as a historical artifact and I respect the bans of such items in France, Austria, or any other countries where bids cannot be accepted.
DIFFERENT, MUCH MORE UNUSUAL, AND HIGHER QUALITY DEATH CARDS VS. THE MORE COMMON ONES GENERALLY SEEN ON EBAY.
