A mid-1960s aftermarket spring reverb unit made by Tenna in Cleveland, Ohio. Back in the day, the cool kids on the block would have one of these under-dash accessories installed in their muscle car.
Link to video is below.
Despite the name, this is not a true stereo unit. There are two mono channels for front and rear speakers.
The mono output from the car radio, going to the speaker in the dashboard, is removed from the dash speaker and connected to the yellow input wire on the reverb unit
The unit splits the incoming signal to two outputs; front and rear speaker leads
The single control on the unit is a rotary fader for front or rear, the same knob is also a push/pull switch that turns the reverb on and off. The spring reverb has no depth adjustment, it's either on or off.
IMPORTANT NOTES
:
The power supply is 12 volt DC, the positive
+
is connected to the fused wire and the negative
-
is the chassis ground, the reverb unit steel chassis must have a secure connection to the car's negative ground
There are no mounting brackets included in this listing
Due to the nature of vintage electronics, and what can happen if they are not installed correctly, this item is being listed for parts or not working
Wires are labeled, see picture
This unit was bench tested and found to be passing the audio signal. Please see the video by copying the link below and pasting it in a new browser address bar:

The video starts with reverb on, then turned off, then turned back on again.
Item Condition
Tested and passing the audio signal as demonstrated in the video.
The fader does not shift the signal very dramatically and the reverb effect is mild. While passing the audio signal, this unit would benefit from a full restoration that includes replacing the capacitors and resistors.
