Originally issued by Max Kunzli in Europe in the early 1950s, this copy bears
the later "Copyright by Max Kunzli, Zurich 6/35"
designation, along with the original Alfred Mainzer publishing address
that appears on the Kunzli series
, usually found on the earliest printings distributed by Mainzer.  It is most likely from a printing run of Eugen Hartung's original artwork in the early-to-mid 1950s.
This is Hartung's first version of the Mouse Family Outing, followed a decade later by Mainzer card catalog number 4903, in which the umbrella has been deployed.
Condition is very good.  Postcard measures approximately 3.5" x 5.5" (9cm x 14cm)
