    M1 Garand squad oil bottle.  Overall condition is very good to excellent.  These were not manufactured in great quantity and were issued until the buttplate with trap door replaced the no-trap buttplate.   Many have not survived and in over 30 years I have only encountered 4.  This one is from my reference collection.
