Weak short springs or worn plunger heads will not hold extractor in bolt firmly and is the number one reason for bolt failure.  These are

and using the most modern manufacturing tooling today. Been suppling the industry for over 20 years including a major firearm manufacturer, many retail on-line and gunshow sellers, and others.  Made to exact USGI Springfield Armory drawing and assembled
on original USGI fixtures.
Plunger is machined, heat treated and then
phosphated to prevent rust
.  Springs are also made to exact drawing; twist, coils, direction, and diameter.  I have 5 certificates from the manufactures that produced these components.  U.S. stopped manufacturing these in the early 60's.  That's makes advertised USGI almost 60 years old.
