$ 13.19

Availability: 100 in stock
  • Condition: Complete issue of 16 pages. The paper was made with rag content at the time so the paper is very sturdy and durable. The issue was previously bound keeping the pages within clean and safe for over 150 years. However, there are some smudges, stains and foxing throughout this issue, mostly along the edges (please see photos). The centerfold is tipped so there are no pinholes or damage as a result of binding but there is a 1" slit along the seam from the bottom and some staining around it (again, please see photos). There is some tape along the bottom edge of page 438. It only affects the serial story "Quite Alone, by George A Sala (which is still completely readable) and does not affect the Grant "cattle" illustration on the backside. Overall illustrations are in fair to good condition but still completely intact, readable and full of exciting history. Issue stored in a clear acid-free plastic sleeve with one end open.
