1979 Ford/lincoln/mercury AM/FM/8 Track quadrasonic stereo. This was pulled many years ago from a 1979 continental. It was installed in my 1968 monterey for a few years, worked and looked great. This will fit other years and models, the speaker and power harness matched up with my mercury and would make a nice upgrade if you have an older manual tuner stereo. It is your responsibility to verify this will fit your application! This is a very early microprocessor controlled digital tuning in dash radio. Most vehicles up till the mid 80's had manual tuning without electronic memory. The display segments are all working properly and it tunes am and fm channels properly. Audio is clear and clean on all four channels. The 8 track is untested as I don't have a tape. However the belt, motor and head are in good shape and may work just fine. The interior and boards are in good condition and rust free. All knobs are present. Some chrome paint on the buttons has cracked and peeled off over the years(see picture) I did not test the panel illumination lamps so I am unsure if any will need replacement. I am selling this AS-IS with a non DOA guarantee as this is over 40 years old.
