    Hello. I want to say that I always try to describe the items as best as I can. I do not claim to be an expert on the majority of the items I sell. If there is a problem or defect with the item you purchased, please contact me before leaving feedback and DO NOT open a case. I will 100% make it right. I am human and do make mistakes from time to time.

    Please note that I have a couple other CC Filson waxed tin cloth hats listed in my store on eBay while they last. These are from an estate on Leech Lake in Northern Minnesota from a late old timer who was an avid hunter and fisherman.
    This is in pretty good condition but has been worn some. It is stiff. The inside forehead band has some stains on it but that could be from the oil applied to protect this. Not sure. No tears or holes. There are some scuff marks on the top from the wax. Anyways, this is still VERY wearable and looks just fine.
    Custom made in the USA.
    Brand is CC Filson.
    This has that tin cloth stiff feel to it. I would guess this has been oiled some for protection already by the previous late old timer.
    Size is One Size Fits Most. The other XL Filson hats I have listed in my store fit my larger head perfectly but this one was a little too small. I would guess the actual size is more like a Large.
    Filson is embroidered in dark green on the left front.
    The tops color is a darker tan. Great for any type of hunting in any elements of weather.
    This is a baseball style hat.
    The back leather strap is adjustable. It is currently at its maxed adjustment.
    The material tag is missing. Probably annoyed the old timer when wearing.
    Shell: 100% cotton or tin cloth as CC likes to call it.
