This mineral is natural, rough, uncut, unheated and ready to love.  You will rarely find this large as gem quality.  May not cut as one piece, and you may not want to at all.  An "Angel Stone" with extra clarity!

ANCIENT HISTORY
Petalite was first described by B.J. d’Andrad in 1800 and was named from the Greek word for “a leaf”, referring to its natural cleavage.  It was used in ancient times to insure property and to protect against accidents.  Brazilian shamen hold it in high esteem as both spiritual and protective property.  It has been used in shamanic ceremonies and in the sacred vortices of Bahia.  It has been considered to be both a protective stone and a bestower of goodness.
