    Description

    This is an awesome little mercantile sales box. It’s a Bellbro Men’s Hose Box. It’s empty now but once contained 12 pair of size 9 1/2 assorted men’s hosiery. It’s made of thin cardboard with a rich brown paper covering. I listed this as being from the 20’s to the 50’s, not completely sure of it but I think it’s a fairly good guess. The box is in only fair shape, has lots of peeled off areas of brown paper, broken and split corners and edges, bends, cracks in the cardboard edges that go all the way through, the paper tissue that once lined the inside is mostly gone the side has a large bend in it. This is still a very charming little piece to have sitting around if you enjoy fashion collectibles.
