Becker Radio Europa MU II Stereo - Refurb with warranty W113 R107

For sale a refurbished Radio
Becker Europa MU II Stereo
. This was top of the line in late 1960's / 1970's; see the advertising material slide (included in the sale). It was installed in European vehicles like Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen plus Italian and English brands.
This radio has an internal stereo amplifier; the 2 speakers connect directly on the back of the radio .
This particular one is the latest and greatest (improved FM tuner) version of Europa II with chrome and 5 buttons. It was OEM installed in
W113  ( 250SL and 280SL)
versions but it fits also all the R107. For the purists... W113 got the 5 buttons version but again ... this one will fit right in.
For 230SL - you need the narrow trim radio; this one does not fit; send me a message for those models.
All other vehicles look at the dashboard cut-out dimensions.
Very nice design with stripes face plate and chrome accents.
This can drive 2 speakers but it can be fitted with a splitter to drive 4 speakers.

Bluetooth
on this Becker (not included in the sale):
The designers of the time did not had an idea about Bluetooth but they were smart enough to provide a DIN plug on the back for Input/Output of the audio signal.
The DIN plug on the back can be used to insert a Bluetooth adapter - not included in the sale - to stream music or for hands free communication.  On the "good stuff" Bluetooth adapter: Open the white plug in the back of the radio, insert the adapter and you are done. You have to do that only once, when you install; after that every time the radio is ON the Bluetooth will be also present.

I recommend pro installation but ... for the ambitious handy ones I can - reasonably - help you with some pointers to install it.
