  • Condition: This item is in excellent condition. It has one tiny tear on the seam in the middle of the front page in the writing only and a small crack hidden among the flags in the picture. There are also some slight staining in places from years of storage; however, none of the edges are moth eaten and it is a completely 8 page edition.

    April 20, 1861 New York Herald Morning Edition Newspaper-Departure of 7th Regiment. This item is in excellent condition. It has one tiny tear on the seam in the middle of the front page in the writing only and a small crack hidden among the flags in the picture. There are also some slight staining in places from years of storage; however, none of the e
    dges are moth eaten and it is a completely 8 page edition.  The headlines are The Departure of the Seventh Regiment - Off For the War, Highly Important News from Baltimore, Blockade of Southern Ports, List of Letters, and features a Pictures Drawing of the scene at the New Jersey Railroad Depot as the Seventh Departed. Item measures approximately 23" tall by 15.5" wide.
