1966 Pontiac Tempest, GTO push button Delco AM Radio.
Restored using OEM Delco parts where needed!
Radio is in very good condition for being 55 years old! Only has a few small pits in the chrome bezel which is to be expected for a piece 55 years old in any climate!
Just look over the pictures carefully & you decide! Kept in dry storage for the majority of its life & brought back to be put back in use & appreciated!
Comes with an equally nice set of original knobs & dials! Also including all four mounting hex nuts & a plug-n-play harness with fuse link, plus the always missing lighting harness with pigtail & new bulb! Just wire the green & black wire to a (10 ohm) speaker & plug the fused hot wire to your accessories terminal of your fuse block & you’re set!!!!
All presets work & lock as they should, dial rotates & moves the bright orange needle smoothly.
Radio picks up all surrounding area AM stations with a good strong signal.
ID Number shows to be for a 66 Tempest, also good for the 67 model as well. Only difference in the 67 is a painted inset on chrome bezel where this one is all chrome.
NOTE: OEM Harnesses, re-coned speakers, speaker mounting brackets, radio mounting brackets are available for most 60’s & 70’s cars & trucks. Ask for details.
