    HERE IS THE MARCH 21, 1945 ISSUE OF "THE ANCHOR" A SIX PAGE NEWS LETTER PUBLISHED FOR THE U.S. NAVAL STATION IN BOSTON, MASS. IT HAS NEWS ARTICLES AND EVENTS RELATED TO THE NAVY AT THE TIME. IT WAS PUBLISHED WEEKLY BY THE WELFARE & RECREATION DEPT.  AT THE STATION.  IT HAS SOME INFO TO SERVICE MEMBERS LEAVING ACTIVE DUTY, ENTERTAINMENT AND SPORTING EVENTS NEW, AND A BASE NEWS SECTION SHOWN IN THE SECOND SCAN. ON THE BACK IS A PHOTO "OLD GLORY FLIES ON IWO JIMA." THIS MEASURES 9" X 11 1/2" AND HAS ISSUES. WEAR AND SMALL TEARS ALONG THE EDGES AND SEPARATION AT SEVERAL OF THE FOLDS.  WILL BE SENT FOLDED.
