    This is a single sided broadside, that was either mailed or meant to be posted. Serves as notice to the Native Americans of Northern Michigan of 43 tribal leaders who under the guidance of the Honorable Elisha Ely of Allegan County, Michigan who announced that they were abandoning their traditional tribal laws and governance to pledge that they would abide by the laws and government of Michigan. Has one hand written add on, the "X" of another tribal leader, most likely to follow suit to the original signatories listed. Flyer measures 3.75" wide by 9.5" tall.
