16-INCH KEEPSAKE PORCELAIN DOLL – VICTORIAN SUMMERTIME COUNTRY GIRL - PREOWNED

Description

This item is a porcelain doll of a young country girl in Victorian times dressed for a summer walk.  Made in China for the Keepsake Porcelain Doll line.  Her label has the following:  “Hello, my name is (blank).  In years to come, you’ll cherish the beauty of this porcelain doll as a keepsake.  Delight in the beautiful details of each unique doll.  The faces, hands and arms are made of fine hand-painted porcelain.  Each doll is dressed in delicate fabrics including satins, velvets and lace.  You’ll appreciate the attention given to every detail in the creation of your keepsake porcelain doll.”
I am downsizing my doll collection and am looking for a new home for this lovely doll.  I collected dolls in the late 1980s through the 1990s and displayed them in a glass curio.
Our young country girl is dressed in a blue denim jumper over a white eyelet dress with white bloomers and shoes.  She wears a straw hat and carries a small straw basket of silk flowers.  She has long crimped red hair, bright blue eyes, and tiny freckles. She stands approximately 16” high, 6” from front to back of dress, and an arm span of 9” as seen from the front.  A doll stand is included for displaying purposes.  Please refer to the listing photos for more details. I took some photos with natural light and some with flash.
She was displayed inside my glass curio until recently.  Although pre-owned (used) she is in excellent condition and comes from a smoke free home.  No chips, cracks or flaws noted whatsoever.
